Michael Bay films are fun?

It's fair to say Michael Bay has received his fair share of criticism throughout the years, exaggerated explosions and cheesy comedy. But let's not forget about the on screen experiences he's brung us down the years. From as early as 1996 when The Rock was released, to 2022's Ambulance, his films are usually big budget, high intense action. In fact his latest film Ambulance is Bay's highest rated film since The Rock (1996).
Despite this he does make the occasional hit movie that is usually entertaining, and follows the source material well.
Looking back at some of his earlier films, Armageddon (1998) was a mild success despite mainly negative reviews. It was a big budget film with a huge cast and should have been much better than if turned out.
Bruce Willis has said he didn't care much for Bay's directing style and won't work with him again, and even NASA experts use this film as a test for new astronauts to try to find as many errors as possible.
