Army of the Dead Review
No Synder cut needed
This film has so many moments of brilliance which are sadly brought down by moments of utter boredom, and you do get scenes that are dragged out beyond belief, and when you combine this with some great moments (such as father daughter bonding) and clever writing, Army of the Dead will have you loving and hating it at the same time.
I love the choice of Dave Batista as the hero, it fits well and he has the respect of his team whilst still trying to win over his daughter. You see, he hasn't been the best dad and has a point to prove, and so protecting his daughter from a city full of zombies isn't a bad start is it.
The film is set in Las Vegas, which is a no go zone, with a border around the city which is now overun by zombies.
This is the only place on earth that is overun by zombies and is strictly a no go zone.
