mystery man in car

Looking out from the flat window on the first floor and out onto the road across from me, I could see my car outline, it was dark. 

Everything seemed normal until a shadow figure appears to be sat in the driver's seat.

After squinting and looking harder the figure was now mysteriously gone. 

Do I go down to investigate or stay in my flat, within the safety of the walls. Now I'm constantly looking to see if the figure reappears again. Nothing. 

After much deliberation I ultimately cave and persue my curiosity, albeit to some regret.
