Top 10 TV Series

#10 The Boys (Amazon)
This is a superhero series with a twist, not all the 'heroes' are good guys. We reach into the dark side of fictional superheroes as they use their powers for bad as opposed to saving the world. This leads to corruption, betrayal and plenty of gore as you can imagine, and they don't hold back on that. Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid and Antony Starr, it's full of twists, surprises and action throughout, I really enjoyed this series and I'm looking forward to the next season.

#9 The Ranch (Netflix)
The Ranch is a comedy about a retired footballer (Ashton Kutcher) who moves back home to live with his family. He helps to run the ranch with his father Beau (Sam Elliott) and brother Rooster (Danny Masterson). His mum Maggie (Debra Winger) runs the local bar too. From the same people who made Two and a Half Men, this sitcom is funny, emotional and that ending (without spoiling) was one of the best endings for a TV series that I've seen in a long time. What makes a great sitcom is how it makes you feel, and The Ranch really drew me in to it's great, intricate little narrative with its heartfelt moments and great comedy, it has that perfect mix.

#8 Game of Thrones
With some of the best casting in any TV series, and great actors embodying their fictional characters from the book making it as real as they can, Game of Thrones shines brighter than any series in this category. Of course the great writing of George R.R. Martin gave us the Game of Thrones universe, and even brought us a great spin off series in House of the Dragon. It's impossible not the ignore the impact this series really had during its run from 2011-2019, bringing in record audiences and top ratings.
It had an ending that divided many fans,
