New films this week (10/01/23) include Percy Jackson, Angry Birds 2 and It Could Happen To You. 

Firstly I really enjoyed the first Percy Jackson film, and it could and should have led to a series of great films. The sequel, however proved me wrong. It was still a good film and very entertaining, it just fell short of topping the first one. 

Percy Jackson and The Sea of Monsters is a weak sequel in that it borrows heavily from other films, such as Harry Potter. It's obvious that it was the inspiration behind so many scenes
