Event Horizon, Without a Paddle

Revisiting some classics this week, and so i started off with space thriller Event Horizon. Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and released in 1997, Even Horizon is a race to rescue a lost spacecraft from the edges of the solar system. The film stars Sam Neill as Dr Weir, someone unknown to the other space crew but is sent along due to his knowledge of the ship being rescued. Laurence Fishburne also stars and Jason Isaacs as crew members. Event Horizon is set in the future with more advanced technology, making space travel across vast distances possible, but this space race quickly turns from drama to thriller as the story opens up and we learn more about Dr Weir. 

Without a Paddle was released in 2003 by director Steven Brill. It stars Seth Green, Matthew Lillard and Dax Shepard. After losing their best friend they embark on a mission to uncover the truth of the missing D.B. Cooper, which was a promise they made as kids, to fulfil their lost friends wishes
