What's your favourite scary movie?

Scream had become such a loved slasher film over the years, and can be put down to the success of the first two. Whilst it's rare to have a sequel surpass the original, Scream 2 was such a huge hit and followed what made the original so good. 

Directed by Wes Craven and starring Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox, Craven directed the first four films before sadly passing in 2015, which meant that both Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet would go on to direct the fifth iteration in 2022. 

Wes Craven is such a talented directer and the suspense he builds throughout the film, never knowing who the killer is and everyone seemingly a suspect, there are so many moments of brilliance where foreshadowing is done in a creative way.

The original Scream was a classic and inspired parody movies such as Scary Movie (2000). Ironically Scary Movie was the original title for Scream before it was changed.
