Zack Snyder's Justice League

The Zack Snyder cut..

I was excited to finally sit down and start watching Zack Snyder's Justice League, not really knowing what to expect, but excited nonetheless.
Snyder decided to put this film into seven sections to give you a chance to watch it over a longer period (it's nearly four hours long). Each section focuses on a different aspect of the story.
One of these characters is Cyborg, and with the film's runtime this allows more backstory into each character, and I feel like Cyborg really shows his importance in the Snyder cut. The relationship with his father is key into his decision to help the team, and this was greatly missed in the 2017 release. The extra screen time really gives the film a new life.

Being a huge fan of The Flash and the TV series, I wasn't too hopeful of what to expect from Ezra Miller's portrayal of Barry Allen. I felt like Joss Whedon's Flash wasn't serious enough and more of a wimp than The Flash I'm used to. Having watched the TV series (Warner Bros, 2014- present) I absolutely love Grant Gustin's version of the fastest man alive, he's brave, courageous and not afraid to run into a fight. This is a far cry from Whedon's version, and it made me want to hate the film even more.
Thankfully in the Snyder cut this is fixed and we get a much better version of Ezra Miller's Flash. He proves to be a huge asset to the team and uses many of Flash's powers, such as going back in time, slowing time etc.

As much as Ben Affleck was slated for his Batman look, I personally think he played it well in this film. Snyder gave him a new lease of life and edited out most of his questionable scenes from the original. His relationship with Superman is much better and comes across to the audience as it should. In the first Justice League it just didn't feel right, and most of the scenes he had in the original were just not witty and very out of character for Batman. I feel like Zack Snyder has given Batman the respect the character deserves. Considering Batman is the one to get the Justice League together, I'm happy that these mistakes have been rectified. He won't ever be the best version of Batman, but at least he's a lot more respectable now.

Another character that benefited from this Synder cut was Wonder Woman. Again, in the original film I felt like something wasn't right, and those extra scenes really bring out the best of her character now. Gill Gadot even spoke publicly about her treatment on set of the original film, and how her character was made to look stupid with her lines. Thankfully this has been rectified in the Snyder cut and Wonder Woman
