The Majestic (2001) review

You remember movies but you don't remember your life

The Majestic will introduce you to a more subtle Jim Carrey performance.

Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, 1999) directs this drama as we follow the life of Peter Appleton (Carrey) as he wakes on a beach not knowing who he is, suffering from Amnesia. Coincidently in the town where he arrives there's a missing soldier who is basically Peter Appleton's doppelganger, and the film draws you in with the possibility that he could be this missing soldier.
